Aussie Aussie Aussie… Oi Oi Oi…
The Imperial Hotel is a true-blue Aussie outback pub, which has been a landmark in its hometown in years gone past. Located six hours from Sydney in the outback town of Condobolin, the Imperial Hotel is a piece of heritage its current owners have refurbished and brought back to life.
The hotel has a long history and its owner wanted to bring it back to how it was in its glory days. When the client approached Adāge, they were looking to have the project completed within a relatively short lead time.
The client visited the Adāge showroom in Sydney with an open mind. He wasn’t too sure on the style he wanted or what he was exactly looking for, however the quality and finishes of the products were important. The client also requested that all the furniture was full assembled when it arrived on site.
Being able to come to the showroom meant the client was able to view the entire range on offer. Coming into the showroom allows our clients to see and touch our furniture and test it out for themselves.
In the initial visit, the client talked through the various spaces throughout the venue that he wanted to furnish. This allowed our consultant to gain a better understanding of the size of the project and the furniture that would be needed to finish the venue off to a high standard.
Working within the style of the venue and making sure to maintain the pub feel, the Adāge team then put together a proposal of their recommendations. This proposal outlined the concept they were looking to carry through the venue – including colouring, chair styles and layout.
Drawing on their interior design knowledge, the Adāge team of consultants is able to pull together design proposals for various venues to give a better insight into their vision for the venue. These proposals outline everything in the design of the venue – from colours to styles and even furniture options. This proposal is then presented to our clients for them to consider and give feedback on.
Once the proposal has been accepted, the team can work on delivering the product to the client.
The owner of The Imperial Hotel was happy with the proposal that was presented to him and therefore the projected was moved forward. The client chose furniture presented to him within the proposal and the Adāge team had it delivered.
As per the client’s instructions, the furniture was delivered to the venue in Condobolin pre-assembled. This makes set-up for the new venues much easier for our clients and is an option that we offer to all our clients.
The new furniture was set up and in the words of the owner, the venue has become the venue to be at in town!
