Located in Alkimos, The Alkimos Cafe and Grill isn’t short on character and charm. Featuring deep timber tones and dark vinyl throughout, this venue is gorgeous. The client contacted us when the building was still just an empty shell, to help bring to life their venue vision.
Adage first visited the venue when it was an empty shell to understand the space for the new venue. After the initial visit, Adāge revisited the venue several times to bring different furniture and fabric samples to the area to find what appealed most to the owner and what worked best in the space.
Working with the owner was a pleasure as he sought recommendations on all aspects of his venue renovation – including the layout, colour scheme and furniture. This made creating the vision much easier as the consultant was able to work entirely off what worked best in the space.
At the beginning of the project, the Adage consultant provided the customer with a 2D floorplan to show the flow and furniture layout that would work best with the space. To create this floorplan the consultant took accurate measurements of the venue and drew up the 2D sketch electronically. This service is provided free of charge and is the first step in all the projects we undertake. The floorplan allows our consultants to get a better understanding of the amount of furniture needed to fill the space, but not overcrowd it.
When it came to the outdoor picnic tables, the client required a different size table to what we had on offer in our stocked furniture selection. To meet the requirements, Adāge was able to customise the picnic table and resize it to ensure it fit in the space.
Our consultants work hard to bring the best results to our clients, including customising products for each individual project. When our stocked furniture doesn’t offer the best solution for our customers, we are able to offer custom items.
