Your tables are important – this is where your food and drinks are served. The tables mustn’t distract from what is being served, however they need to appeal to the customers and be able to handle the activity. Also, due to their frequent use, they need to be easy for the staff to clean.
Bars have a higher volume of liquid spills than any other hospitality venue, and therefore your tables need to be able to clean easy and take wear. Have a look at our table tops for some ideas, ideally something from the Crown Compact Range would be great!
Bar tables come in a variety of sizes – from 2 seater bar tables, to longer 8 seat bar tables. Using a variety of table sizes can accommodate different group sizes and party gatherings. Alongside size comes style. There are a variety of styles you can choose from. Create your own bar table using a base and top.
All of our bar bases are UV stable and weather resistant and can be used both indoor and outdoor. This is great if you are wanting to carry your theme throughout both your indoor and outdoor eating areas. Similarly, the majority of our table tops are also UV stable and weather resistant and can be used in both settings. Let your style shine through a custom table.

When you are choosing your tables, remember that commercial bar tables are 1000mm to 1100mm high – anything lower is considered to be domestic. This can have an impact on the type of bar stools or bar chairs that you choose. Speaking of which, there is the option to choose seating that has a back (Bar Chairs) or seating without a back (Bar Stools). Remembering your target age audience, make sure you are catering for all ages with your seating.
Another option to think about is that some areas don’t have seating – you may want to just have cocktail bar tables for standing room. This will increase the volume of clients that you can fit into a tighter space and therefore increase your turnover.
