The Balmoral in Vic Park is a proper local — heritage building, loyal crowd, always buzzing. After a fresh paint update to the façade, they wanted the beer garden to feel just as sharp.
The brief landed right in our lane: new beer-garden furniture that lifted the space, but still respects the building’s heritage bones. The old-school pub character set the direction from day one. Green-and-white frontage, stained glass, and that classic corner-hotel charm — so we leaned into pieces that feel timeless, solid, and made for good company.
The standout for us was the custom round picnic tables. They shift the whole flow of the garden. Softer layout, easier to gather around, and that “stay for one more” feel built in.
We backed it up with Apollo chairs custom-coated in Manor Red. The colour brings warmth and a bit of energy against the fresh exterior and brick courtyard, tying everything together without pushing into trendy territory.
The end result is a beer garden that feels brighter and more current, but still unmistakably Balmoral.
