Ocean Reef Sea Sports Club isn’t built for quiet nights. Set within DevelopmentWA’s Ocean Reef waterfront precinct, the new clubhouse sits front and centre on the coast — and with a packed calendar of live music and events, the fit-out needed to keep pace.
The brief was coastal, but with restraint. Light, modern and relaxed, without tipping into beach clichés. Natural tones and warm textures do the heavy lifting, keeping the space feeling fresh during the day and holding its own once the room fills up.
Flexibility was the real driver. Furniture had to move, reset and roll straight into the next event without the room ever looking scrambled. The Eva Chair ticks every box — clean, lightweight and built for action — while the Bunny Chair with rattan back brings in just the right amount of coastal charm.
Walkthrough renders helped lock in the flow early, giving the Club confidence in how the space would work before anything landed on site. Now the clubhouse feels confident and easy in its skin — a coastal venue that looks calm on arrival, switches gears when it needs to, and handles a full week of events without missing a beat.
