Coombe Yarra Valley is a chic winery & restaurant surrounded by seven acres of stunning gardens. Originally the home of Dame Nellie Melba, Coome Yarra Valley is a venue steeped in history and unrivalled in authenticity. “Coombe Yarra Valley provides a stunning location for wine tastings, weddings, private events, or simply dining in the exceptional a la carte restaurant.”

Needing to update their existing chairs, the client came to Adāge with their ideas and vision. Their old chairs were falling apart, and they were looking for new chairs that would not only fit the aesthetic, but also stand the test of time. The client was looking for a chair of higher quality than their originals and were hoping for something with a vinyl padded seat to bring in an element of luxury and comfort. They were also looking for something that could be stacked away for easy storage and removal.

To aid the client in their decision, Adāge brought several sample styles out to the venue. This allowed the client to test the furniture and feel the durability and comfort of the options. It also allowed the client to have a better idea of what the chairs would look like in the venue.

After presenting a few different options that didn’t quite fit the bill, Adāge out forward a custom chair, made especially for the client. This chair, the Tehara Chair, was not a part of our stocked range, however when our range doesn’t meet the client’s needs, we are able to offer custom options.
